Chaos in Spain, La Liga suspends Catalans

More and more dramatic is the situation of Reus Deportiu, Spain's second-tier football team, which is going through a difficult financial crisis that seems insoluble and left the team with only 12 players.

After the end of the season, the event had to resume on January 19th with the start of the second phase, but this Friday Reus, a Catalan team, has been at the center of a handball battle between the federation and La Liga.

The first has approved the continuation of the activity, but a few hours later La Liga's sports judge has issued an order to suspend the first team and the first two teammates of the team for the whole of the second stage.

The judge has motivated the decision at the moment with the fact that, after the end of the first phase, all championship teams had once encountered Reus and this made it possible to maintain the regularity of the tournament.

The first team to benefit from this suspension is Las Palmas, who has announced Friday evening that it will not go to Catalonia.
