Best of the City season, fans choose "New Iniesta"
Manchester City has announced this season's polls for the Season's Player, based on fans' votes. About 62,000 fans voted and the winner was Bernardo Silva, with 48% of the vote.
The Portuguese organizer has been extraordinary this season, playing a decisive role in the trophy triumph for Man City, as far as now famous analysts and former footballers in England are approaching with Andres Iniesta.
The vote was conducted in two stages and the full list was then reduced to 3 names - Bernardo, Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero.
The award was given to the Portuguese during the trophy parade, in front of thousands of fans in the city center.
"Thank you all, you gave us a wonderful boost this season. Everything became a reality thanks to you and without you it would not be possible.
"The next season we will return, trying to win more trophies.
We worked hard, we are tired! It was a long, fantastic season, but with 4 winning trophies it was a wonderful year.
