Milan wins against Fiorentina, the Champions League continues

Milan won the 36-week Serie A match with a 1-0 victory over Fiorentina in a very bad time.
The pressure on the Rossoneri was great, especially after winning Atalanta a few hours ago and they definitely needed a win to hope for a place among the top four.

The absences were numerous, ranging from Paqueta suspended for three games, to Biglia, Calabria and Caldara were injured.
Romagnoli has returned to the defense center after the suspension, while Bakayoko has started from the previous minutes and is apparently forgiven by Gattuso.

Fiorentina has not taken any victory under the direction of young coach Vincenzo Montella, while have 11 games without taking three points in Serie A.
The match started with great momentum from both teams and at the end of the first half was Turkish Hakan Calhanoglu who scored the first and only goal of the match.

The second part was controlled by Milan, which did not allow the locals to create a clear opportunity for the goal.
With this victory, Milan is in fifth place, a point less than Inter having a fewer games.
